Clinical Supervision
I hold a Diploma in Supervision from the Institute of Group Analysis, and I offer individual and group supervision sessions to qualified therapists and trainees.
The aim is to provide a safe and supportive supervision space for the practitioners to explore their work with clients and encourage new perspectives in clinical case management. An important aspect of supervision is to further develop an awareness of transference and countertransference in the consultation room and work through issues in the clinical work that obscure the therapeutic boundaries or influence clinical judgment and management of clinical risk.
Reflective Practice Groups
Working in healthcare systems can be demanding and staff are often caught up in parallel dynamics and processes balancing clients’ needs and the service’s priorities within a wider care system. Reflective practice groups for teams and students aim to offer a space for groups to reflect on their clinical practices, acknowledge service challenges and wider organisational systems, and consider the impact on patient care and staff wellbeing.
